Established as one of the pioneers in amaranth-based products, this company markets its products internationally, crafting food items made from this ancient grain with high nutritional value, thereby offering ready-to-eat foods of superior quality, flavor, and nutrition.
Challenge
Due to its recent entry into the international market, Quilali needed a branding strategy with an aesthetic suitable for diverse markets and an image that conveyed high quality and an ideal cost-to-value ratio for its products. Part of this process naturally led to a redesign of its packaging, which serves as the consumer’s direct point of contact with the brand.
Solution
Landscapes of amaranth fields were part of the visual conceptualization of this brand, conveying the natural message the brand aims to represent. Using colors from the amaranth plant, the earth, and the fields as a base, colors were then added to each product for easy identification at the point of sale. Additionally, the logo was designed for easy readability by carefully selecting typefaces that enhance the brand’s value.
